The Kitchen Work Triangle

Planning a work triangle in your kitchen can cut down on excess traffic, by positioning the sink, stove and fridge to create an invisible triangle.

The concept for the kitchen work triangle was developed by the Small Homes Council of the School of Architecture at the University of Illinois. According to the Small Homes Council each side of the triangle should be between 4 feet and 9 feet, and the total of the three sides should be no more than 26 feet.
